Winning Selections from 2015
Recognized by FastCompany in their “The Most Innovative Companies of 2016” feature for “providing a platform for the best in drone filmmaking,” FRiFF successfully established an international presence in its first year after screening at the Emergence Creative Festival in Margaret River, Western Australia, and Gascoyne River Music Festival, this past March.
FRiFF was founded in 2015 by Eddie Codel, a San Francisco based live video producer, aerial filmmaker and drone nerd. With a focus on independent filmmaking, Codel’s mission is to continue making FRiFF accessible to as many drone enthusiasts as possible. “I want to highlight the best stuff out there and really encourage filmmakers to take it to the next level.” Early bird submissions, open through July 15th are only $10. From July 15th, through August 15th, the price increases to $15.
