Drones can fire missiles, deliver packages, and capture stunning aerial footage for movies. The SKEYE Pico Drone doesn’t do any of those things — instead, it’s just really cute.
The quadcopter measures less than an inch across and weighs only 0.25 ounces, which makes it the “smallest drone in the world,” according to Netherlands-based TRNDlabs.
It even fits inside of its own controller, which is nearly as cute as living inside of a thimble. The little thing can do flips and rolls, or simply hover in the air to tease house cats from above.
To launch it, users can simply pick it up and throw it upward. It’s flown with a controller that looks similar to a Xbox controller and features three levels of sensitivity to adjust to different flying styles. It also comes with LED lights for those who want to take it for a spin at night.
Unlike larger drones that can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars, the SKEYE Pico Drone sells for only $49, and is sale on Wednesday for $35.
